A remote network Monitoring Appliance designed to provide remote monitoring and administration to Power Watch RS-232 rack PDU’s. In addition, external sensors allow for remotely monitoring temperature and humidity. Multi-functional RJ-45 ports allow connection of Power Watch PDU’s, temperature only sensors or temperature/humidity sensors. Each unit ships with a powerful software application which provides an intuitive graphical interface for monitoring, administration, logging and reporting features. Authorized administrators may set upper and lower threshold levels for each port. Warning (80%) and critical level (90%) alarms are created based on each port limit. Threshold violations can be sent via SNMP to email. Different recipients can be designated based the severity of the alert.
